Dr Kelly Thornbury is a fully qualified Specialist Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon based in Sydney. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). Dr Thornbury combines the elegance of her comprehensive surgical training and aesthetic appreciation with an understanding and respect of your personal story to achieve your desired outcome. Dr Thornbury is dedicated to delivering safe, customised care to all of her patients. Dr Thornbury has special interests in breast surgery, body contouring and intimate surgery.

Dr Thornbury was selected to study Medicine and excelled at medical school, graduating with Distinction and was awarded the highly competitive Carl Mason Memorial Prize. Dr Thornbury then went on to complete eleven years of postgraduate medical and surgical training. Throughout medical school and in her early postgraduate years, Dr Thornbury discovered a passion and natural aptitude for surgery, and was accepted onto the highly competitive RACS accredited Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical training program. Her surgical training included aesthetic and cosmetic procedures, reconstructive, burns, and hand surgery in both adults and children. Dr Thornbury trained across multiple tertiary hospitals in Sydney, in surgical units recognised for excellence in Australia and internationally. Dr Thornbury also gained further experience in cosmetic surgery under the mentorship of leading surgeons.
